Right click on the following file and download onto a temporary file.
sqlDESKTOP-3.00-1.i586.rpm (53 MB)
Open a shell console, cd to the directory where the sqldesktop distribution file is stored and enter the following command:
rpm -ivh sqlDESKTOP-3.00-1.i586.rpm
(Please note that sqlDESKTOP will be installed into the directory /opt/sqldesktop)
With a shell command:
cd /opt/sqldesktop
and enter the following command:
./sqlDESKTOP
With launch icon on KDE (Gnome) desktop window and menu
At the end of the installation, launch icons will be added to your desktop window and menu.
sqlDEKTOPserver (for the multi user network version only)
Install sqlDESKTOPserver on the server and sqlDESKTOP on users desktops.
Right click on the following file and download onto a temporary file.
sqlDESKTOPserver-1.10-1.i586.rpm (58 MB)
Open a shell console, cd to the directory where the sqldesktop distribution file is stored and enter the following command:
rpm -ivh sqlDESKTOPserver-1.00-1.i586.rpm
(Please note that sqlDESKTOPserver will be installed into the directory /opt/sqldesktopserver)
With a shell command:
cd /opt/sqldesktopserver
and enter the following command:
./sqlDESKTOPserver
